Ahmed Yousef, Ph.D.

Dr. Yousef’s research focuses on microbial safety of food, including investigation of antimicrobial peptides and ozone-based technologies effective against foodborne pathogens. He is also investigating how microbial pathogens respond to ultra-high pressure and pulsed electric fields.
